Air-supported dome – efficient and affordable covering
Air-supported domes are the most efficient and affordable solution for covering sports fields. They do not require a solid frame—they are supported by the overpressure of the air inflated inside through ventilation and heating equipment.
They are suitable for covering medium and large surfaces and can be dismantled and reassembled in just a few hours. Atlas Sport structures are designed in accordance with each client’s specific requirements.
How does an air-supported dome work?
The air-supported dome is a PVC membrane supported exclusively by the internal air pressure. Continuous ventilation maintains constant pressure, and the heating system ensures a comfortable temperature during the cold season.

Air-supported dome with single membrane
The standard option, made with a single covering membrane. Lower cost, quick installation. Not recommended for swimming pools or spaces where the internal temperature must be kept high.
Air-supported dome with double membrane
Made from two membranes welded together. By blowing warm air into the space between them, “air pockets” are created that reduce heat loss. Significant energy savings—ideal for swimming pools and heated spaces.
Special double membrane
The two membranes are completely independent, with no thermal bridges. Excellent results in energy savings—the premium solution for covered pools.
