built with purpose
Whether used for competitive running or recreation, the type of surface on which running takes place influences speed, technique, and even physical health.
While a comfortable surface improves performance and protects the body, an inadequate surface can affect joints over time, increasing the risk of injury.

We offer a complete service package for athletic track development: site analysis, customized design, permit acquisition, turnkey execution, and final acceptance.
We handle the entire process from the first step until we deliver a track ready for use and, if applicable, ready for competition approval.

Official dimensions (competition-approved):
| Track Type | Length | No. of Lanes |
| Standard Track (oval) | 400 m | 4-8 lanes |
| Speed Track (sprint) | 100 m | 6-8 lanes |
| Hurdles Track | 110 m | 4-8 lanes |
Standard lane width: 1.22 m (according to IAAF/World Athletics)
For official competition approval, the running track must be at least 400 m long, with 4-8 running lanes. The sprint track (100 m) and hurdles track (110 m) can be integrated into the oval track configuration.
Dimensions can be customized based on available space and the track’s purpose (schools, training centers, local competitions).
Poured Tartan – the ideal surface for competitions and performance. High elasticity, weather resistance, decades of durability. IAAF/World Athletics certifiable.
Cinder (red brick) – the classic surface, joint-friendly. Excellent shock absorption, lower temperature in hot weather. Ideal for training and recreation.
| Criterion | Poured Tartan | Cinder |
| Performance | Excellent | Good |
| Competition Approval | Yes (IAAF) | No |
| Durability | 15-25 years | 5-10 years |
| Maintenance | Minimal | Moderate |

Tartan is the ideal surface for athletic tracks: a mixture of polyurethane resin and rubber granules, with high elasticity and excellent weather resistance.
Poured Tartan Characteristics:
• High elasticity – returns energy with every step
• Resistance to UV, rain, frost, and friction from sports shoes
• Does not deform or change color over time
• Water permeable – rapid drainage after rain
• Functionality maintained for several decades
• Can be installed in any climate
Advantages for Athletes:
• Optimal shock absorption – protects joints
• Reduces the risk of injury from falls
• Excellent grip – optimal traction for sprinting
• Consistent performance regardless of weather conditions
Certifications and Standards:
• Compliant with IAAF/World Athletics standards
• Adheres to current European regulations
• Eco-friendly product, certified manufacturing technology
Cinder tracks are among the most popular types of athletic tracks, being the choice for many institutions and beneficiaries seeking a body-friendly surface.
Cinder Track Characteristics:
• “Velvety” surface – significant shock absorption
• Easier on the body than hard synthetic surfaces
• Lower temperature in hot weather (vs. hard surfaces)
• Most common type: red cinder (crushed brick)
Cinder Advantages:
• Reduces cumulative stress on leg joints
• Ideal for long-duration training
• More affordable cost vs. poured tartan
• Natural surface, appreciated by runners
Limitations:
• Requires more frequent maintenance
• Not certifiable for international competitions
• Variable performance depending on weather conditions
Recommended for: training tracks, schools, parks, recreation centers.
A durable athletic track begins with the correct infrastructure. Surface preparation stages include:
Infrastructure for Tartan:
• Removal of the vegetation layer with mechanical means
• Leveling and compaction of the earth sub-base
• Compacted ballast infill (drainage function)
• Reinforced concrete slab with impeccable flatness (mandatory)
• Optional: fine asphalt layer over concrete
• Pouring of polyurethane tartan with markings
Infrastructure for Cinder:
• Removal of the vegetation layer
• Leveling and compaction of the sub-base
• Compacted ballast infill (drainage)
• Installation of coarse and fine-grained cinder
• Rubberized curbs for lane demarcation
Low-budget alternative: tracks can also be set up with artificial turf for recreational use.
Correct infrastructure execution prevents unevenness and ensures the long-term durability of the track.
Standard Features:
• Lane markings (white/colored lines)
• Start and finish lines
• Lane numbering
• Demarcation curbs
Optional Features:
• Starting blocks
• Hurdles for hurdles events
• Long jump/triple jump pit
• Throwing sector (discus, javelin, shot put)
• Pole vault/high jump area
• Night lighting
• Spectator stands
• Electronic timing
