How is a mini-football field built?
A durable mini-football field starts with the correct infrastructure. This includes:
- Stripping – removal of the vegetation layer using mechanical means
- Ballast layer – 20 cm, compacted, for drainage
- Crushed stone – 8 cm thick
- Finishing layer – 0-8 mm stone, 2 cm thick
- Optional: concrete slab or asphalt, depending on project requirements
Correct infrastructure execution prevents unevenness and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
What are the dimensions of a mini-football field?
Standard dimensions:
- Constructed area: 42 × 22 m
- Playing area: 40 × 20 m
A mini-football field must be rectangular. Dimensions can be customized based on available space, budget, and beneficiary needs (schools, courtyards, urban parks).
Artificial turf for mini-football fields
For player comfort, we use artificial turf with a pile height of 50 mm, made of polyethylene (does not scratch or “burn” the skin upon contact). The turf is FIFA ** certified, state-of-the-art.
Surface composition:
- Dry quartz sand infill: 10-15 kg/sqm
- Ecological rubber granule infill: 6-10 kg/sqm
- Integrated markings with white line inserts
The granule layer creates an elastic mat that makes contact with the surface pleasant and safe.

- Metal posts 6 m high, fixed in concrete foundations
- 4 perimeter pipe cords (at 0 m, 2 m, and 6 m) for rigidity
- Pipe rods and bracing
- Galvanized wire mesh protection (0-2 m high)
- UV, rain, and frost-resistant textile mesh (2-6 m high)
- Protective mesh above the field, over the entire surface (optional)
- Access gate
